The Park's Municipalities

Fascinating bits of Lombardy between Garda and Po, the Mincio Park represents a whole of territories and communities whose history and life are permanently bound to those of the river praised by Virgil.

Mincio Regional Park's protected area includes thirteen municipalities belonging to the Mincio Regional Park Authority. From the Moraine hills to the flat expanses, the places show the many fascinating ways people interpreted the encounter between water and earth.

Two municipalities situated in Venetia complete the territory of the lands crossed by the Mincio river: Peschiera del Garda and Valeggio sul Mincio.
